Hey there! I’m Sara! I am a national board-certified, registered, and licensed Occupational Therapist in NYS. I have a passion for thinking outside of the box and providing individualized care specific to each child and family. As a Certified Yoga Teacher, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Boston Yoga School, and my 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training and 30-hour Kids Yoga Training with Yoga Renew. I’m also a Certified Holistic Health Coach, completing my schooling with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

Since receiving my Masters in Occupational Therapy from Gannon University in 2019, I’ve had the rare opportunity to service children from birth-18 years within various settings that include acute care, outpatient care, early intervention care within homes, daycares and preschools and school-based care.

As the founder of Little Roots Occupational Therapy & Yoga, I’m excited to offer a family-friendly and ease-of-service experience to children and families, through individualized occupational therapy services and group movement classes. I believe in a simpler healthcare model, where the child’s/family’s time is maximized every minute they are with me, and the nonsense is left at the door. I believe in working closely with the family to discover the root cause of a child’s difficulties, and providing specialized care to improve their functional independence and every day abilities. I understand that every child is on their own developmental journey, and therefore believe in a family-centered, child-led, strength-based, holistic approach to my work!

Living in Tully, NY with my husband, twin boys and two dogs, we enjoy everything outside and anything fun! When I’m not working with families or teaching yoga, I love reading, cooking new recipes, and any movement based activity. Above all else, I just love spending quality time with my family.

Our passion to nurture your child shines through our work!

Let's embark on this journey together!
